Liberal BRAVO Actress Attacks Trump At Alan Thicke's Expense

Yesterday we loss the much beloved actor Alan Thicke to a massive heart attack. Many fans and celebrities took to social media to share their condolences. One celebrity who decided to use Thicke's passing to attack President Elect Trump was Lisa Edelstein. On Twitter She tweeted:

What Edelstein, who is most famous for her role on House MD, may have thought was witty or clever backfired in a BIGLY way. Many Alan Thicke fans tweeted their thoughts about her classless tweet. Below you can read several responses to the actress' callous tweet. Hopefully, Lisa will learn to think before she tweets. However, she is a liberal elitist, thus the chances of that happening are probably slim to none.

Excited for the Future

2016 has been a crazy year. As Christmas quickly approaches I am enthusiastic for the upcoming year. In 2017 Donald J. Trump will become the 46th President of the United States of America. Many, including several members of my family, are worried about his Presidency. I don't share their pessimism. I see Trump's win as a plus for the future of my country, my family and myself. Why do I feel this way? I see a future where the family is a priority, where the unborn are protected, where our borders are strengthened, where immigrants are not demonized because they will enter our country legally and where America will be great again. I am finally optimistic about the future. God bless America.

Being Kind in a Reactive World

I have spent the last attempting to straighten out issues dealing with my Obamacare coverage through Blue Cross Blue Shield via the telephone. Something I noticed with each call is that the person answering the phone was rude at the beginning of the call. I kept a positive attitude throughout each conversation and each time the person on the other end of the call became nicer to me. It seems that everyone is reactive when dealing with others. Wouldn't the world be a much better place if we returned to common courtesy? I challenge everyone to spend a day, heck try an hour, being kind to everyone that you encounter be they familiar or strangers. If the people you encounter are rude, ignore it and be kind. We can change the world simply by doing this one thing. My challenge isn't anything new, It is Biblical yo:

You have heard that it was said, 'Eye for eye and tooth for tooth.'  But I tell you, Do not resist an evil person.  If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also.  And if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well.  If someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles." -Matthew 5:38-41

A Ragamuffin Looks at 40

I am less than six months away from my 50th birthday (6/9/16 for those of you who want to start your early gift shopping). My life has gone through many changes the last 10 years. I got a divorce, met and married my best friend Lesley, gained a step-daughter and welcomed a fifth child, Frankie, to the family. I am a blessed man. I wouldn't change a thing about my life.

During the last ten years I have been able to share Jesus with many, including many members of the Mormon faith to which I was an adherent. I have gained many friends with my involvement in the Celebrate Recovery ministry. This ministry has helped me to deal with the many hurts, habits and hangups that kept me from growing spiritually. My life remains a work in progress.

As I look forward to turning 50, I have decided to share on my observations on life, love and my savior Jesus . I don't feel that what I have to say is profound, but I do believe that I have much to offer. I believe that about most everyone else too. I hope you will join me for the ride.
